Do I really not need to sign up?
Correct. The first tap goes straight into an instant video chat, not into a registration form. If you decide to stick around you can make an account later to keep things like your call history — but you are never forced to before your first conversation.
Do I have to turn my camera on?
No. You can start on voice or plain text and keep the camera off entirely. Plenty of people warm up that way and switch the video on halfway through. It is your call, every call.
Who will I be matched with?
Real people who are online at that moment, from wherever they happen to be. The crowd shifts through the day — mornings feel different from late nights — so it is worth coming back at different hours to talk to someone new.
What if someone behaves badly?
Move on with one tap and report them while you are at it. Moderation runs around the clock and reported accounts are pulled out of your rotation. You never owe a stranger an explanation for leaving.
